Hi, I’m Paula.
I'm the artist behind Paula Quinn Artwork, and I’m so glad you’re here. After teaching in the classroom for over 22 years, I took a leap of faith three years ago and I am now a full-time artist working from my home studio and gallery just outside Omagh in Northern Ireland, where visitors can view my work by appointment.
Originally from Armagh, I returned to painting while searching for meaningful large scale artwork for my own home. What began as creating one piece for myself gradually became something much bigger and reignited a lifelong love of art
Today, my work is collected in homes across Ireland and around the world.
My paintings are inspired by the landscapes that surround us, particularly the Irish coastline and countryside. I try to capture how a place feels; the atmosphere, the changing light, the stillness, the memories, and the quiet sense of mystery that certain places seem to hold. I am drawn to the wild, mystical nature of the Irish landscape and the layers of history woven through it.
Working in a semi abstract style, I create pieces that balance softness with texture and mood. My aim is to create artwork that feels calm, timeless and personal, allowing each viewer to connect with a place in their own way.
Alongside original paintings, I offer museum quality giclée prints and large scale canvas prints, making artwork accessible across a range of sizes and price points. I also create selected commissioned pieces, working closely with clients to create something meaningful for their home.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy exploring the collection.
