Hi, I’m Paula, the artist behind Paula Quinn Artwork, and I’m really happy you’ve taken the time to visit my page.

I work as a full-time artist from my home studio just outside Omagh in Northern Ireland. Originally from Armagh, I came back to painting after looking for a large piece of art for my own home. I struggled to find printed canvases that felt meaningful, and original artwork was often beyond my budget. Even though I had taught art, I hadn’t painted for years. Creating my own piece reignited my love for painting, and I enjoyed it enough to hang it on my wall.

Painting became more important to me during the second lockdown, when it gave me a chance to switch off and create without pressure. I shared my first work anonymously on Instagram, and from there painting slowly grew from a hobby back into something I do every day.

I enjoy working across different styles, from soft, atmospheric and muted pieces to more vibrant and textured work. I like keeping my approach open so each painting feels fresh and natural rather than restricted to one style.

Today I create both ready-made artwork and commissioned pieces, working directly with customers to produce paintings that suit their homes and ideas. My aim is to make original art personal, approachable and affordable.
